The 15th edition of The Ocean Race will set sail from Alicante, Spain, on 17 January 2027. The race will begin with a historic 14,000-nautical-mile journey to Auckland, New Zealand – the longest opening leg in the competition's history – before continuing around the world and concluding in the Red Sea. Combining world-class sailing with a strong commitment to ocean health, The Ocean Race goes beyond sporting competition. Through scientific research, education and awareness initiatives, the organisation highlights the challenges facing our oceans and inspires action to protect them for future generations. Born has entered into a mutual cooperation agreement with Litigium Capital, a leading Nordic legal finance company, enabling Born to offer clients more flexible fee arrangements within dispute resolution. Through the collaboration, Litigium Capital may provide financing (Third Party Funding) for a portfolio of disputes handled by Born under full or partial success-based fee arrangements. The model offers clients greater flexibility and predictability regarding legal costs and enables the financial risk associated with dispute resolution to be shared. For Born, the collaboration is a natural step to further bolster its dispute resolution offer and to provide clients with alternative fee structures tailored to each specific case. “Clients increasingly expect both high-quality legal advice and greater flexibility in how legal services are structured and priced. The measurement covers completed real estate transactions and real estate financing during the period from 1 July 2021 up to and including June 30, 2022. The top list includes a total of 16 law firms, of which Born ranks no. 6 with a total underlying property volume of SEK 70.1 billion. Born, which was formed in December 2021, was the only newcomer to the list.
