Born has acted as legal adviser and deal counsel in connection with the issuance and listing of secured corporate bonds issued by Sweden Timber through Amwood AB (publ).
Sweden Timber is a Swedish-owned manufacturer of wood and paper products, with production facilities primarily located in southern Sweden. The company produces sustainable paper products, sawn and planed timber, as well as granules.
The bond was issued on 25 October 2024 with a total volume of SEK 750 million, under a framework amount of SEK 1 billion. The bonds are secured, among other things, by pledges over shares in operating subsidiaries.
In the issuance process, Born collaborated with CSC (Sweden) AB as security agent and Arctic Securities AS as issuing agent and sole bookrunner.
The bonds were listed on the Nasdaq Transfer Market on 16 December 2024, with a commitment to uplist to a regulated market within one year from the issue date.
