Born is proud to continue its longstanding partnership with The Ocean Race, one of the world’s most prestigious sailing competitions and a global platform for ocean sustainability.

The 15th edition of The Ocean Race will set sail from Alicante, Spain, on 17 January 2027. The race will begin with a historic 14,000-nautical-mile journey to Auckland, New Zealand – the longest opening leg in the competition’s history – before continuing around the world and concluding in the Red Sea.

Combining world-class sailing with a strong commitment to ocean health, The Ocean Race goes beyond sporting competition. Through scientific research, education and awareness initiatives, the organisation highlights the challenges facing our oceans and inspires action to protect them for future generations.

At Born, we believe in supporting initiatives that share our values of dedication, collaboration and long-term responsibility. We are pleased to continue our support for The Ocean Race and look forward to following the teams on their extraordinary journey in 2027.
